Exploring the history of dates through the lanes of Chandni Chowk

The lanes of Chandni Chowk light up in the month of Ramadan. In this capital city of India, Chandi Chowk houses the architectural grandeur and historically exalted site of the Jama Masjid. In this video, we took our cameras to the streets of Old Delhi, once Shahjahanabad, and our pens found themselves etched into history books, re-writing the trail of dates once from West Asia to now the dastarkhwans of Jama Masjid. The plot of the video is simple: at the end of Ramadan, we connect the dots between dates and the lanes of Chandni Chowk, and all that is part of that journey.
